The Atlas Society (TAS) plans to provide one or more scholarships for graduate students for the 2014-2015 academic year. TAS will offer up to a maximum of $11,000 annually in living expenses and tuition and fees.
Our graduate scholarships support qualified students pursuing advanced degrees in philosophy and closely related fields, including history, political theory, psychology, and cognitive science. The goal of this program is to aid students with long-term scholarly interests in Ayn Rand and Objectivism to complete their degree programs and begin taking part in teaching, researching, and writing on a professional basis.
Candidates will need to submit an application specifying their financial needs, career goals, academic record, and degree of familiarity with Ayn Rand and Objectivism. The detailed application requirements are listed on the
application form which is due March 1.

ng activist for liberty and advocate of Objectivism. He was actively involved in the life of our organization since its founding in 1990, as a donor, advisor, speaker, writer, and member of our Board of Trustees. His untimely demise was a loss—not only, and primarily, to his family—but to all who knew him, who read his trenchant essays, who enjoyed the sunlight of his support and encouragement and the wisdom of his advice. He was a true pillar of our community.
Frank had a special passion for programs dedicated to students, research, and scholarship. The Frank W. Bubb III Memorial Fund for Scholarship will accordingly be used to support such programs.
