Dear Aalok,
As 2013 draws to a close, we celebrate the many achievements of DIL students, teachers and staff. A few highlights from this year include:
- DIL second graders averaged within the 50th percentile or higher in norm referenced English reading measures;
- 650 students sharpened critical thinking skills through project based learning; and
- 202 students shared the joy of reading, writing, and math with illiterate women in their communities.
In fact, we see DIL students and alumni across Pakistan using their education to improve their own lives and that of their families and communities. All this has been possible because of the concern and generosity of people like you. On behalf of DIL's 19,000+ students and teachers, thank you! |
